This class infuses poetry, readings, aromatherapy, sound therapy and guided meditation. Students are invited to experience the well-known benefits of mindfulness meditation which include, but are not limited to: improved emotional regulation, creativity and intuition, greater mental clarity and energy levels, and decreased symptoms of anxiety, insomnia or any tension-related pain. This collective practice is a unique way to develop a greater sense of community. No special clothing or equipment is necessary; we offer yoga mats, blankets, blocks and bolsters.
