Six Week Courses By Season


After receiving a number of requests for meditation classes for busy parents and working adults, Suzanne Hathaway joined our team for special six week courses in guided meditation classes. A practitioner of yoga and meditation since 2011, Suzanne received her certification in in M.B.S.R. (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) through the Center for Mindfulness, Health Care, and Society at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She believes that even a few minutes of focused breathing each day can reduce stress, reduce anxiety, and improve focus. No advance preparation is necessary; you may come in comfortable clothing or in your work attire. We believe you’ll find that adding this time of relaxation and focused breathing, even once a week, will elevate your mood, reduce stress, and improve focus. The class will also include tips to continue your practice throughout the week. The fee for the class is $12, and discounted rates are available for students and seniors. You may also use or purchase a class card which entitles you to discounted rates for multiple classes.
